If you're thinking of visiting us for one of our Sunday Services, we have put together the following questions and answers so you know what to expect. If you have any questions that are not covered on this page, do feel free to get in touch and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Where can I park?We have on-site parking and plenty of free street parking around the church. One of our car parking stewards will point you to an available space. What time do your Sunday meetings start?10.30am and 6.30pm. The morning meeting is our main meeting and lasts approx. an hour and 45 minutes. Our evening meeting has a very different 'flavour' to the morning and lasts about an hour and a half. (see our Calendar page for more details of the Sunday meetings) What happens when I arrive? You will be greeted at the front entrance by one of our Hosting Team members (look out for those wearing a lanyard) who will show you where to sit and where the various facilities are. Do you have baby-changing facilities?Yes, this is situated in our disabled toilet. Do you have disabled facilities? We have disabled spaces in our car park should you need to use them. Also, a disabled toilet. We have wheelchair access through the front entrance. For the hard of hearing there is a 'loop' system in operation. Where do I sit?Except for the designated Parent & Baby seating area at the back of the auditorium, there are no set seating plans. You can sit wherever you feel most comfortable. Is there a dress-code?No. Come as you wish! Do you have Sunday School classes?Yes, at the morning meeting we have what we call Sunday Club classes. If you have children, then we have two main classes in the following age groups: 4-6's and 8-12's. These classes start approximately half an hour into our services. If you would like to meet the relevant teacher before sending your child to Sunday Club then please speak to a member of the Hosting Team before the service starts and they will introduce you to the teacher who will let you know which room they meet in etc. Do you have a Creche? We have a room available for Parents and their babies/toddlers. There are lots of toys and things to keep your little ones busy and there is a live feedthrough audio of the sermon. This is not a baby-sitting service but a facility for parents and their babies to use. However there is often an informal arrangement among the parents to look after one another's children during the service. What happens during the service?Various things happen but our morning meetings follow a fairly regular format as follows: a worship session (modern contemporary style music), church news announcements, a 2-minute 'meet and greet' time (during which the children go off to Sunday Club) and then there is a message preached (this normally lasts around 40 minutes). Added to this we have 'Communion' or 'Breaking of Bread' once a month and we also have prayer lines as and when the need arises. What happens after the service?Just about everyone stays around after the meeting for refreshments and chat before heading home. This would be a great time for one or two us to get to know you. Can I arrange a meeting with the Minister or one of the main leaders?Yes, if you can't get to see any of them during the service then contact us and we will set this up for you.
